I assumed they were publicity announcements put out by WB at the time the show aired to trumpet the ratings success.

OK, let's just view them as history for a moment. Don't you find it fascinating that they continued to use images of Baby Mick (i.e., the Mick of the original pilot) on these ads?! I wonder why they didn't update the picture.

Also--they're ads. They spun the info in the best possible light. But still...

Notice the "i" in Moonlight, too. I don't think I've seen it written out with that graphic before.

These things make me sad still.

What a waste of a fab TV show.

Yes, I noticed the stake! Once again--I wonder if the design was picked early, and never updated. But they changed the cityscape... because the original Moonlight was set in New York, and that's definitely the LA skyline. I guess they just fixed that one layer and decided the rest was OK as it was.

Yeah, it does cause a big pang...such an "if only" feeling...

I can't get over how different Alex looks there. It seems like so long ago now and he sure has changed. And I agree. It's bittersweet but brings back wonderful memories of my favorite show.

Not only are they using baby Mick images, but they're a really sinister looking baby Mick - not too much romantic about those looks!!

Also, isn't that NYC's skyline? Sure doesn't look like L.A. to me!

Oh no! Jade, do NOT be sorry! We LOVE seeing these... we've just been thru the trench warfare thing is all... it's bittersweet memories of THAT... but we LOVE seeing anything about the show...

And actually your last post answered my questions... ads... for the advertisers! How odd... I did not know they did that. THANK YOU!

And Alle, I thought it was interesting they used BabyMick too... sigh.
