This is just fabulous Nocturne.
What a delightful twist to Fever.

This is wonderful, Julie. Really wonderful. You capture Mick's anguish so brilliantly - and the Leni we all saw: feisty, strong, determined. She's wonderful:
This is such a wonderful scene and I can't wait to read more (although I did find this really tricky to read because of your formatting - maybe it's just me?).

So perfect.NocturneInCMoll wrote:“What if I can’t control myself?” he said hoarsely.
“If you can’t control yourself, why am I still sitting here?”
Out of the mouths of babes...NocturneInCMoll wrote:Mick squeezed his eyes shut tight, but a tear escaped. “What kind of monster takes blood from a pregnant woman?”
He felt a hard slap across his face and he opened his eyes in surprise. Leni was glaring down at him.
“A monster wouldn’t think twice about it.
This is such a wonderful scene and I can't wait to read more (although I did find this really tricky to read because of your formatting - maybe it's just me?).

Wow, thank you so much, Red! ...but my formatting? What was it that made it hard to read?

Thanks so much, Jen! Glad you like. I'll try and get on Ch. 5 as soon as I can, but my Moonlight muse has taken a leave of absence lately...
