Lovely and loving, happy and relaxed.
So good to see Mick as "the contented vampire."

:reading: Thank you for this.

Guess I'll be adding this to my recommended daily allowance of Pgal greatness.

Now, if I go and read "Summer", I may spontaneously combust.

Love everything about this but especially the ending line. Kind of surprised me but it's true of course. Nice to say it out loud.

Sorry, just had a great "what if" scenario.

That was just...yummy!!!

I love the relaxed feel of it. The comfortable togetherness. Nice.

Also, it was lovely to hear Beth tell Mick that she loved him, too.

Nicely done!!

Thanks.

Loved. This.

But I'm not surprised -- you never fail to deliver, PNWGal.

I especially like hearing Beth tell Mick she loves him because we heard him say it, and had we gotten our second season, we may have heard her utter those words, too. Thankfully you're here to put the words in her mouth and make our vampire happy.

Great job on this. I'm almost swooning at the thought of what you could have done with a little more time.......

Moonlighter...thank you. I love the idea of a contented Mick and I always felt it keenly we never got to hear Beth say "I love you, too".

Ah... this lovely piece of love and joy just popped up thanks to the adorable Moonlighter... and I love it as much this time as I do every other time I read it. She needed to say it to him. She WOULD have said it to him. And I can see her examining the whole situation... till she got distracted... :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts: :melts:

And yeah, she'd appreciate the fact that he loved her first. That is a real gift.

Thanks, Alle. Even though he wanted to deny them, I think Mick was sure of his feelings way before Beth was. Ms. Reporter would ask questions, analyze and make darn sure before she said the words.

Found this again and adored this. Again.

It was charming and sweet throughout, then the conclusion
My life changed forever when I met this P.I. at a fountain at a crime scene one night. He saved me more times than I can count, even giving up the gift of his newfound humanity to do it." Beth shifted and pushed at Mick's shoulders. He rolled onto his back so Beth could straddle him. "I found my guardian angel and fell in love with him."

Mick gripped Beth's hips and thrust upwards. "So was falling in love the unexpected part?"

"No." Beth closed her eyes, sank, shuddered. "The unexpected part was that he loved me first."
Just superb.

I can only say "thank-you" anything else I could say trivializes the beauty of your tale.
