Mick & Josef - These Are the Days of Our Lives by Queen

Mick & Josef have one of the greatest friendships ever shown on TV and this vid is my celebration of that.

This song isn't ideal for what I wanted to show in the vid but I couldn't think of another one to use and I needed to get this vid made as it was driving me crazy. If I ever find a better song I will go back and re-edit this.

I think you've got every one of my favorite Mick & Josef scenes in here coco ... oh, what a collection.

I think I used pretty much all my favourite M/J scenes too.

Ah! I cannot BELIEVE I had forgotten this vid! I LOVE this song for the boys... cause for all the highs and lows in their individual lives, when all is said and done, they are living out their days, riding out eternity, together.

I ALWAYS loved Mick and Josef together and losing their scenes together was one of the bitterest pills for me to swallow. But in all the MickBeth fluster and bluster in Sonata, I don't think I had truly come to appreciate the depth of the boys' relationship until more recently. As we have gotten sorta, grudgingly, grumpily used to ML being gone, I reflect more and more on Mick and Josef and how much they meant to each other, how tied together, literally into eternity they are....

And kinda feel like Cora may come and go, may even come and go again; Beth may come and go... Simone may come and go; Sarah may even come and go again...

But Josef will be there. And Mick for him. And I find that extremely comforting.

Maybe I'll tackle another Mick & Josef vid when I have more confidence. It is indeed a relationship that was huge on the show and probably for a lot of us, the most missed.

I love that song, and the scenes you used fit perfectly--especially, I think, that first verse. Wow.

I admit that I always try to match lyrics to scenes - it's kind of my thing. I'll never be terribly artistic with lots of effects but I like the emotion of my vids and I'm thrilled others do too.

I may try another Mick and Josef vid (I'm not that confident with this pair) and I'll see if I can find a soundtrack song that sings to me for them.

I will be so sad when I finish my visit to your video office. I always really enjoyed this one. It captured their friendship perfectly.
