Almost 7 years later~~still finding ML fans

So, tonight we had a lovely dinner out with some old friends and a couple who have been "peripheral" friends the last few years.
After a great meal and a few cocktails, both couples joined us at our home. The old friends left and the new friends stayed for a while and we laughed and talked about music, movies and favorite tv shows.
As we talked about "Orange is the New Black" our discussion centered on Taryn Manning, I stated that she acted on a few H50 episodes. I mentioned the name Alex O'Loughlin and the female of the couple said "oh my god, I looooove him. I haven't watched Hawaii 5-0 but I loved a show he was on called Moonlight---have you heard of it?"
My husband busted out laughing and told her how she had NO idea what that comment would mean to me.
We spent a great several minutes talking about ML--she talked about how cool the apartments were in the show and how she remembered loving the fireplace at Mick's place. She said that her and her daughter loved the show and how she wished it had gone on for a few more seasons.
Only one of my friends ever watched the show, so to hear someone talk of it with such nostalgia was very, very cool.
Just wanted to share!
