Hi everyone,

We will be closing MLA in order to upgrade the board software on Sunday, August 19th, at 7:00am, Eastern time. (That's UTC -5.) This is not a major upgrade, so there shouldn't be any big changes as a result. We don't anticipate the board being unavailable for more than a day, but we want to give you plenty of notice so that you can register at the Moonlightaholics Motel if you haven't already done so.

As always, we will keep everyone informed of the progress of the upgrade, and will make an announcement at the Motel as soon as MLA is open for business again. In the meantime, we're sure you will find plenty to entertain you at the Motel. It's fully equipped--hot and cold running vampires, Rogues and Courtesans everywhere... we know how you Moonlightaholics love to party when you're on vacation.

If you register at the Motel and don't get activated within 24 hours (we have to manually activate the accounts to keep spammers down), please PM me. I want to be sure everyone who registers there, gets activated. Thanks!

FYI, if you are registering at the Motel, check your e-mail at the address you gave when you registered. You should have received an e-mail that has an activation link in it. Clicking on that link will activate your account, without the need for admin approval.

Well, that went pretty smoothly, I've got to say! The upgrade has been completed. You shouldn't see any major differences.

Hi everyone,

We've discovered that some of our styles (skins) are experiencing a few little glitches after the upgrade. This sometimes happens with older styles that were written for earlier versions of board software.

The Prosilver and subsilver2 styles are always updated when the board software is upgraded, so if you use those, you shouldn't notice any problems. If you use one of the other styles, please rest assured that we are looking for similar styles to replace them, but this might take some time.
