Returned from my weekly Target trip, where they had 4 more dvds on the shelf.
Good news, because I purchased the last 2 out last week, so they are keeping the shelves replenished and have the stock to do so.

You are an excellent mole, Fleur...

Good to know the manager of your local Target will be keeping his/her job...

Well, I got worried when I was reading from others that some places either didn't have many, or that there weren't a lot of stores selling them.

Hey, every time a dvd sells, that's another Ml fan, another person aware of Alex, more money for the powers that be, and a better chance of us getting something out of it all.

LOL!! I read your first phrase... every time a dvd sells... and I swear I was expecting to read next... an angel gets his wings.

But ITA... it would be nice if we ever got something out of this... besides the fun on the site here, of course... ;)

Hey, I'm not judging... I gave my daughter one for her birthday (or her brothers did)... and bought 2 for myself... Cause she won't share her movies and I need to have one for back-up...

We are single-handedly taking care of our very broken economy, in ML dvd purchases alone!
And with no bail-outs.

You guys are buying from high street stores, but Amazon sales are still going strong too! :D

I've been keeping a regular check on the chart positionsand in the overall 'TV & Movies' chart it's dropped down to No. 14, which is still impressive when you consider the DVDs it's competing with - it's actually one place ABOVE The Dark Knight right now! It's also back at No. 1 in 'Boxed Sets/Drama', (IIRC it dropped to No. 2 for a day or two just before the Sci-Fi reruns started) and is currently No. 2 in 'Movies & TV/Television' category.

All this from a show that "lived" for just 16 episodes, had little promotion after it's launch, (apart from the last 4 episodes) and "only" had 8 million viewers at it's height. I know that many people expected sales to tail off dramatically after the first wave of fan purchases, but even with the more dedicated amongst us buying multiple copies, there's no way our small numbers could affect sales figures *that* much.

I just hope that TPTB are watching!

L. xx

Please allow me to squeal and happily rant!
My very best friend in the entire world, is coming over tomorrow evening for pizza and ML. She only watched the last 4 eps and got hooked, had never seen the first 12.

Anyhow, we have a new flat screen and dvd system that is like a computer (and for those of you who know me, that is NOT good news for lisa). So, my hubby showed me how to work it, and I did a dry run this morning with FtP--which I hadn't seen since it originally aired--and OMG. Talk about ecstasy. Clear, beautiful perfection. The best part: putting it on pause and having 44" of Mick St. John.

Thanks for letting me share. Send me the bill.......

TVguide.com has an advert on their main page (bottom right) for "Classic DVD Gifts". Their number one listing?

"Moonlight - The Complete Series"
"Sink your teeth into this hit DVD set, out now!"

The ad clicks through to Amazon.com.
