I'm with ya on this one, Fleur...haven't seen it, never care to. I watched the first 5 minutes, and NOTHING in the world could get me to keep watching. It doesn't matter how much I love Alex...didn't like the blonde hair anyway

I do give the man credit for stretching beyond his actorly comfort zone. I know that he really wanted to get this movie made. He is versatile, that is for sure!

I'm not sure how much credit for stretching you should give....
He helped create the idea for this movie and helped create the movie itself...
His comfort zone seems perhaps broader than many others'...
He is, after all, an artist...

I am truly shallow and this question proved it. Pearl got some real quality time on the pier and I envy that. But I thought she was ugly. Also, I'm a true romantic. I have to choose Beth because I'd want him to be my Guardian Angel and I'd want to be the center of his world. We'd get to the quality time eventually. I'd make sure of it.

GA!! I thought Pearl was a pretty girl with very few concessions, beyond her shoes, to beauty standards. Very little if any makeup or support garments, let's say. She also didn't exactly wear couture... or even J Crew. But she had great, tho not coiffed hair, a very pretty face, and was thin. And a beautiful mellifuous voice... very badly spelled there, btw. IF Hollywood did her up, she'd be a stunner... but she was playing a chick from the Oyster Farming version of the Outback.
But I respect your choice... eventually Beth would have had her Pearl moment too, had they not CANCELLED the d@mn show!!
