I think so, too, and I think it fascinates him. He is depending on her professional expertise and acumen to protect his business. She wouldn't be there if she wasn't the best. He wouldn't allow it.

Agreed. I definitely thought Simone was a perfect match for Josef. It's too bad the series was canceled because I think they would have put her in more episodes.

There are lots and lots of things about Moonlight that would have developed wonderfully. This is just one of them.

Sigh. There is a lot of amazing stupidity in the world and cancelling Moonlight ranks right up there.

Always. Crossing the Pacific for an 'office refit' struck me as a bit of micromanaging, but Josef tends to have multiple reasons for his actions sometimes and doesn't always share them.

And Simone has good instincts.
