Re Afterglow - I'm working on it (it's only just over a week since the last update!). I need to finish both final chapters before I can post 11 so it might be a while. But it will go up as soon as possible.

Red, once again I bow to the master! This was stunning. So much emotion I feel spent but I've read it 3 times now-LOL Lucky, lucky us that ri got older! kays ps. my birthday is in Nov. if you've nothing to do or need inspiration.

This story is so bursting with imagery. I love the choice of words.

you strip away the cloak of regret that has protected me

hum your name against your skin, each time new and sacred. The voice of ages cries inside me, forcing tears past the silver that can no longer contain them. I don't need to turn away, not now, not ever.

Such a richness of words, of emotions in such a few words. It’s as if you were in Mick’s head.

And then the sensual careful description of their love, with „Like this“ slaying me again. It’s the ultimate counterpoint to the bathroom in Fever, intimacy, giving and accepting life, being connected on a deep level.

For the first time in this life, I hunger no more.

Wow. This is touching on every level of humanity. Everything a person could ever want has been fulfilled. The epitome of heaven.

And the last two lines kill me again.

Others have said it, but it bears repeating...this is perfect. The emotion, the rhythm, the release of each to the other. Together, they banish fear. Together, they find love. What a wonderful gift you gave Ri and all of us.
