A couple of behind the scenes pictures from today...

This one was tweeted by Ryan Hansen. I had to crop out Chris Lowell's hand gesture to post it on the board, but you can see the original here: https://twitter.com/HiRyanHansen/status ... 384/photo/

This one was from a Kickstarter "extra," @VMepicLoVe. (I cropped and brightened it.)

And via Kickstarter, Rob Thomas just confirmed casting Ken Marino (sleazy private eye, Vinny Van Lowe) and.... Martin Starr!! :hyper2:

Martin never appeared in the original VM series -- he'll be playing a new character. :teeth:

TOAST!!!! :cheer:

Ooops. Wrong series. :slaphead:

Martin was in Rob's series "Party Down" so I'm not surprised he's in it. He was great.

I had the same reaction, Rhonda!! Never saw "Party Down", so I don't know what his character was like. Even so, adding Martin to the cast can only be a good thing. :hyper2: :hyper2:

I highly recommend Party Down if you're in the mood for snarkiness - particularly the first year (with guest star Jason Dohring in one episode)

A new "official" VM movie pic has been released, via EW. Unfortunately, Jason's not in it, but it's still cool. http://insidemovies.ew.com/2013/07/03/k ... ars-photo/

And it's on the Santa Monica pier - another site near and dear to our hearts.

Yay!

The other guy looks like the actor Max Martini who played Steve McGarrett's (Smooth Dog's) buddy who was trying to kill that dictator in season 1 of H50 (episode Po'ipu).
