Good for her, she certainly deserves the best! :clapping:

Ratings for "Harper's Island" took a big hit last night. The show, which drew a 2.7 adults 18-49 rating in its premiere last week, dropped to a 2.2 in the prized demographics. It had 8.17 viewers. It also lost almost half of the CSI lead-in audience. CSI drew 15.42 million viewers. If the decline continues and the rating drops under 2.0, I wonder if CBS will keep it on the air?

The time slot for this show has been changed from Thursday to Saturday at 9:00 pm I believe? I'm not sure if this is a good omen or a bad one. Thinking not good. Numbers are down as you stated SusieQ. I feel badly for Jill. Was hoping this show would work out for her. I don't think it will be back after the 13 episodes air. I do hope they allow the viewing audience to continue on with the episodes though.

Yup, news, its been relegated to a night even deader than Friday night, if thats even possible. And its a safe bet that after the 13 episodes air, there will be no more Harper's Island. I too feel bad for Jill. She obviously put a lot of herself into this show, both producing and writing for it. But she's a very gifted storyteller, so she'll find the right nitch eventually. We'll just have to keep in touch with her and keep an eye on any new stuff she may get involved in.

Agreed....Last week's episode is one she wrote, and it was better than the others. I wish her all the best.

Just saw an ad that said Harper's Island will air Monday evenings, starting next Monday, on Chiller (I believe at 8 pm EDT). They're describing it as "the scariest mystery you never saw."

I stuck with it when it was on CBS even on Saturdays. I think it is worth giving it a try.

Going back to Harper's Island for a second. I've watched the first four episodes as I think I read the comments earlier on the thread. What a complex plot! I'm enjoying it.

Jill was the very first person I ever asked for an autograph. I still have that paper and it means so much to me. I know the industry is brutally but not following your dream is even harder.

Rock on Jill, you have many who believe in your talent.

Mr. PNW LOVES Eureka, and I'll watch it if I happen to be sitting there, but I managed to catch this ep.

It was cute!

Finished Harper's Island today. I did the last 5 episodes in two sittings.

I had an inkling it might be that person but I'm still amazed at how crazy that person was.

Now I want to go visit that island which wikipedia tells me is close to Vancouver.
