Josef sees clearly what Beth is feeling and I'm glad he spelled it out for Mick. I'm just a little sad to see Sarah gone, although it makes perfect sense especially with the Sonata episode and the Sarah Whitley Memorial.

Thanks, carol I'm glad you found this a beautiful story and the allusion to falling off a pedestal. I really think that that's where Beth had placed Mick and that's why she was so stunned when he refused to turn Josh.
Josef had to deal with Whitley. Even as old as he was, he might still try again, or worse 'out' Josef and that's not a risk Josef is willing to take. I didn't like that he had to let go of Sara either, but he realized finally that it was time.
