Yeah--I wonder if it's a Mick thing, or an Alex thing? 
I noticed the same double-bite thing in the raw footage from the early-morning "Wake-up" sequence in Fated to Pretend. He did it when he was brushing his teeth. It didn't make it through to the final cut, though...

Hey! Watching an old Criminal Minds (first aired 11/28/2007) and the escort's dad from AD was a cop! He had one line, but I recognized the voice.
