Thanks to MyImmortal for sending me these links.

Stanton Barrett, a NASCAR and stunt driver, posted behind-the-scenes vids of stunt driving he did on WLB and Sonata. I got a Quicktime error on the "Sidewinder" vid (of the prisoner transport crash in Sonata) on the first page "stunts"...but the What's Left Behind vid on page 2 (of the jeep in Italy and the bombing mortar attack in which Ray is injured) is awesome. I'm going to try to view the other video on a Mac and see if I can get it to run.

Thanks to mizzoh at alexoloughlinrocks.com for the info that Stanton Barrett has a youtube channel! There are videos for his driving stunt in Sonata (overturning the LAPD transport van in the Emma-rescue scene), and also an fabulous clip of him dropping down through the skylight for 12:04AM! :hyper2: :hyper2:

Unfortunately, the videos that were on his blog don't seem to be up anymore, but Mizzoh has the Sonata Jeep stunt available at AOLR, and you don't need to be a member to see it: http://alexoloughlinrocks.com/videos/mo ... eft-behind

Here are the youtube links.

Awesome. Now I know why Shepperd looked like the hunchback. It was the cable holding the stunt guy. :snicker:
