I added clips from a movie to show Mick growing up in 1920s Los Angeles. See if you can guess the movie!

I hope this stays on YT because they rejected it at first. Now it's back up after a dispute claim. I don't know how much longer! I spent too many hours working on this. But it's a very enjoyable expression of my love for Moonlight, the same as the fanfic writers, banner & art makers. Please watch, if you would be so kind.

I just adore this video. The mix of different times, set to this song, is absolutely perfect. The movie you picked for Mick's childhood scenes works so amazingly well. I've seen a lot of videos try to incorporate bits of other movies to add new elements to the story, but it usually turns out to be a jarring effect that just doesn't fit. I didn't know it was possible for it to work at all, much less work beautifully the way it does here! All of the editing is gorgeous, too. So creative and original!!!

Thanks for all the comments! I heard this song a few months back and thought it would be a great song for Mick. I wanted to find some clips of old LA on YT but never could find any. I was also wanting to find video of Haley's comet but could never find it.

Then I watched the Changeling and knew it would fit perfectly. I had to go rent the movie to get the clips (technically challenged). I started on this about 3:00 pm on black Friday and had it almost finished by 3:00 a.m. I only stopped for a few hours to eat dinner and tend to the family. After that I spent quite a few more hours on it. I'm still learning how to use the software. Half the time I'm correcting mistakes that happen when you change something and it throws everything else off. I think I spent about 2 hours trying to figure out how to get the Trajan Pro font to my video editing software for "Los Angeles 2007," which nobody probably even noticed. Never could get it to work. And, of course, I pretty much loved every minute of it. I barely stopped to eat. Mick tends to do that to me!
