If I've learned anything lately, it's that life is short and fleeting...and that you have to live it. Mick got a second chance to live his life, even if it was temporary...and he was going to get out there and live it. And I'm pretty sure Beth was a huge part of that.

A lesson for all of us, babe. Live life to the fullest.

Oh Mick, he had so much to live for and it was cut short. He got to do everything on his list but for the last one he had to be returned to a vampire. That showed her, I think.

You really captured all of Mick's joy in his "second" chance.

This is new to me and I love it!
It’s temporary, but I have my life back. And I’m gonna live it, for however long I’ve got.
That's our Mick! Only we know how little time he has, and that not much of it was spent with Beth. But he enjoyed every minute he had.

Wow, I'd forgotten this one! It really captures the essence of Mick's enthusiasm and zest to get the most out of the limited time he had. I just wish he'd gotten more time to enjoy it. And eat a real donut. :Mickangel:

Such a beautiful story. I think since falling in love with Beth, Mick realizes how fleeting human life can be! I think we could all learn something from this!
