I bet that I have read this WONDERFUL story at least a dozen times and it is still so very special. I can close my eyes and see Mick, all sweaty and sad, in his human bed with Beth... a beautiful site! Thank you, again and again, for such for this tale.

lynn, I can't tell you how thrilled I am to hear you come back to this one so many times for a re-read - thank you. I'm not sure if it's because I arm-wrestled it so hard, but this one's special to me and I'm so glad it's special to others as well.

It makes sense that the death of Bobby Desmond would effect Mick so profoundly.

He may have stayed clear of a face of face meeting, but he was always watching over his old friends anyway. I'm so glad that Beth stepped into the role she did with Mick, taking care of him when he had been so thrown off balance by the tragedy.

Just lovely!

Thank you!

Jenna
