Thanks so much for bumping this, MLC! This story always brings happy, sentimental tears to my eyes. I love the fact that Mick hangs on to these special treasures. And I love like crazy that he kept Little Beth's Valentine.

It is very cute that Mick has kept these heartfelt valentines for so long. I like how they are from many different times in his life.

It was wonderful that Beth saw the valentine that she made for Mick as a child. (And of course she would notice that he hadn't shown her one... )

This fits so perfectly into Moonlight lore....all I could think was that of course Mick had saved those special valentines for all those many years. It was lovely how each one had such a different meaning for Mick. I so laughed at his horror at getting a mushy card when he was ten, and then had to cry a bit about the one from his mom. (And loved that she called him Mickey.) And then of course Beth's....
So sweet and so realistic at the same time.
