What I wanna know is how did he get that picture out of that frame so quickly? :snicker:

It's never that easy for me. :Mickangel:

Are you sure it doesn't have something to do with Moonlight Math?

Well, statistically speaking, it's possible. :giggle:

A little detail that I just loved in this episode was the offhand remark Mick made that his DNA was fundamentally altered after he became a vampire.

Altered...

Now what is the main prerequisite for something having DNA--being alive.

I just loved that the vampires in Moonlight had been transformed into an odd branch on the human family tree, but they were alive.

Jen I agree that was one of the most appealing things to me about Moonlight vamps. They were in my opinion Evolution

Jen, nobody's throwing anything! That's the best thing about Moonlight's vampire mythology, in my opinion. Vampirism isn't a condition of the soul, it's a condition of physiology.

And one other thing that I thought about, related to my opening post about themes. This episode's about hopes and expectations, too... and what happens when they are shattered. How do you go on?

Funny you should mention that, Alle. For me, that seems to be a major theme throughout all of ML. We got to witness Mick coming back to life.

True, Nutmegger. Maybe this episode was that theme in a more immediate sense... :chin:

Everyone is so nice.

Maybe I am a little paranoid tonight. Some days do that to me and it has been...interesting.

I loved the acting in this episode, and it all worked for me.

One point that I particularly loved was when Josef says to Mick...'unless you and Beth manage to rewrite the rules of vampire love' and then sees that Beth is right there listening to it. He turns and says softly, 'Beth's here' and makes his exit.

Too cute!

I just really love this episode...and some really great fic was inspired by it.

If you haven't read them, bluedahlia did two fabulous fics about Lilah, Wisteria and Facade. Also not to be missed is Alle's Six Months.

I adore bluedahlia's stories, and thank you so much for recommending mine, Pgal!
But you are much too modest: one of my favorite WLB-inspired stories is your own Taking Care of Lilah. And another wonderful one is The Divine Office: Sext, by redwinter101.

We've already been reminded of Lilly's fabulous A Night on the Town ("Window Shopping" from Ep.15)... what other amazing WLB-inspired fics are there?
