I know. It's almost unforgivable... except that she's been through SO much, she's so traumatized... and Mick forgives her, so who am I to not forgive her?

Man, you'd think it would be less painful after all this time. But it isn't. :hankie:

That ep always leaves me so drained.

For a really really long time, I was so angry at Beth...but Mick's not blameless here. He should have never come to her and expected her to understand.

Yeah. He was looking for understanding from her, when she was totally grief-stricken. (And guilt-stricken, too, although Beth's good at not examining her feelings.)

:grumble: , I thought I was finally going to make one of these and then Apple called and said my computer is back (as Texas utters a sigh of relief) so I went to pick it up after work and just got in. Looks like I missed most of the watch and chat, 'cause you all are already sobbing like a bunch of babies. :snicker:

I'll try to catch another one.

Yeah, this is just a tragedy. Everyone involved is rocked. Mick feels he needs to explain and it is all too raw for Beth, who sees turning in a completely different light.

There really is no way for him to answer that qestion. Yes, gets I knew you weren't trying to save him, and no gets, well, the unloved feeling you see her experiencing here.

At least he knew when to shut up.

ETA: Alle was faster.

Hey HM, maybe you can just "imagine and chat" :snicker:

It truly amazes me how much power this episode has after multiple rewatchings.

Quality...stays.

Hey HotMicks! I'm sorry you missed it, although really glad your Mac is fixed...

There's an awful lot to talk about in this episode, so if people feel like sticking around, I'd love to hear what you all have to say...

Cool. It's a shame that they had to kill Josh in the episode where they finally gave him something to sink his teeth into. I think Jordan shone in this ep.

Oh, didn't he?! I remember talking with him at the Gala about the way he chose to play different scenes, the way he got into the character of Josh. He's a really thoughtful, smart, and insightful guy. And it was an absolute blast to talk to hear him talk about the craft of acting. :hearts:

ETA: When I say "talking to him", I mean sitting at a table with 12 other people, when he stopped by during the dinner to spend a few minutes with us. Not one on one... I'd LOVE to talk with him one on one, but I feel blessed to have had the opportunity I had.

He was amazing. His pain was palpable as Mick was working on him.

Even though we get one of the strongest scenes with Mick agreeing with the statement that he hates being a vampire of the series, he is very comfortable in his skin in that fabulous bar scene.

One of the little facets I loved about Moonlight was that Mick retained the best of his humanity--his compassion, his sense of justice, his desire to protect the helpless while using the strengths that vampirism provided to help.

Synergy again.

Nice.

Yes, this episode shows Mick being totally in touch with, almost reveling in the power of his vampire powers. And then he is also so very human. Such a dichotomy. You see how Mick could have done those terrible things...
