:Mickangel: I think the only reason this epi is not one of my favorites is because of the teenage vamp. I just didn't like him much, and I also didn't care much for the whole teenage vamp/Cherish thing. The MickBethJosef parts were great of course. :yahoo:

Can I just say I was not all that amused at the 5 minute promo for "Nikita"?

Not amused at all!! Are we going to have something cut to make up for it?

More than likely, yes. Hey, they need to push Nakita, which doesn't have the best of buzz. If it means slicing a couple of minutes from ML, it's no skin off their nose.

Yeah, just so appropriate....still wonder how they did those stunts....this was done at the Santa Monica pier, yes?

Yes, it was at Santa Monica. Do you suppose they brought in a crane to attach their safety lines to?

I didn't notice any cuts, but something seemed a bit odd in the pacing...like maybe they sped up some parts just a touch.

AD is one of the shortest eps, anyway.

they must have done something....and my guess is that there were stunt people doing a lot of that work....even so, yikes!

I LOVE the scene where he takes the cops down! (But why couldn't he smell, or at least hear them??)

I never cared for the teen vamp either ... but the observations about him as the opposite of "cool" Mick are spot on. Didn't appreciate Josh's character either, until ep 11 (sigh). Sophia looked amazing ... my hubby thought she was "hot". But the scenes that get my  started are of Mick at the end where he's looking at the dad/mom/daughter and Beth ... the lighting was perfect, Alex was perfect and, of course, the kiss at the end with his smile -- WHY did the camera cut away so fast! The dvd should have had extras in it, that scene included. Song was haunting, too.

Still amazes me what a beautiful show this is, three years later ... :happysigh:

I love the fact that he's got grease smeared on his face and yet he still looks absolutely scrumptious.

But I've gotta say, NO MAN IN THE WORLD would do that little "walking fingers" thing to look for his keys under a car. He'd sweep his hand across the asphalt, not walk his fingers. And we won't even go into the fact that dropping your keys next to a car--unless they're made of rubber--will not cause them to bounce three feet under the car. But oh well...it does not matter AT ALL to the essence of that scene, which is The Kiss. :hearts: :hearts: :hearts:
