You know, it's interesting that all those reporters don't pick up on the Mick St. John conundrum. His picture is in the book and he doesn't look any older?

They were all distracted by the 2007 version of John and Kate... I don't recall what that was, but it was probably a panty-less Paris Hilton and Britney Spears... maybe those 2 are really freshies hired by Josef TO distract the media...

So, every time I watch this, and Mick tells Julia "Run!" --I think "Run? In those shoes???"

It's been awhile since I've watched this episode. As I said earlier, it always makes me feel uncomfortable because of the awkwardness and Lee Jay almost outwitting Mick.

I noticed Beth's turmoil about her kidnapping more. It is interesting how it takes to episode 8 for Mick to admit his connection. She's mentioned it twice already.

I'm watching it all by myself! I hate the West Coast.
80's Mick totally bit Lee Jay on the cheek, not the neck. That's why he had scars on his cheek when he got out of prison.

He did -- but the question is: why?? It's not like Mick to play with his food.

And my son asked an interesting question tonight, something I'd never considered before -- why didn't Mick just drag Lee Jay into the alley with him when the cops came? He could've disappeared with him.

He really was off his game. :sigh:

And that was WAY before Beth, even before Baby Beth...so Josef is off the mark, in blaming it on "some blonde reporter."

Well, I think he blamed Mick's not ending Lee Jay since he'd been out of jail on the blonde reporter.

*Sigh* I love when, at the book party, the camera pans from Beth to Mick standing there leaning against the wall IN THAT BLUE SHIRT. *Sigh* That is one of the loveliest shots of him. I think I'm gonna post that in the mick thread after this ends.

RIGHT! (I hate to say that)

Actually, Mick was probably afraid of being exposed.....BUT he should have snapped Lee Jay's neck, or something.
