In watching this episode in the past, it never has struck me before that Josef seems to know a lot more than he is letting on but this time through, I had a much stronger impression of this.

The statement that, 'everyone has a double' seems on the surface to be very cut and dried, but I would think you would at least get a little bit more information before you assume that you know how things are. Especially when you consider that these are vampires we are talking about.

Coraline is a cool customer when she sees Josef in Mick's office.

I LOVE the way Morgan seems so completely on the level--so sincere! She's a consummate actress, our little photographer...

Really enjoyed Josef's remark about the vinal recliner having 'crazed serial killer' written all over it.

You have to give Morgaline major props for her acting skills. She is really good.

Did I just say Morgaline was good??? yeesh

That is wicked scene, isn't it?

Did y'all notice the look Coraline gives Beth once she has gaslighted them? That must be what got Beth thinking she was not just Morgan.

This ep really gave us a chance to see Mick acting a little, well, nuts. As correct as he turned out to be about Coraline really having returned, he went to Josef for assistance and Josef was not much help (whether this was because he was more in-the-know on Coraline's plans or if he was just clueless (which I doubt).

At the end, Mick went to Beth and told her everything.

I have a theory. I don't think Josef is the "head" of LA vamps, as fanfic has made him sound. However, he is very well connected.

I agree Jen. Mick was a little crazy here but he was dealing with the impossible.

The music in this episode in the flashback sequences was quite wonderful. It was so true to the period (listen to me, it was true according to what I know of the period-I was born in that decade but my music saavy didn't extend much beyond kiddy tunes).

Don't you love Morgaline's apartment. In ways, it looks a lot like Mick's FOS and don't you love her comment about having 'this fifties thing I'm trying to shake'

Oh, yeah--she's throwing clue after clue after clue his way. And he's SO sure she's Coraline--till he doesn't see the tat. But surely he'd be able to smell the makeup... if he wasn't so darn rattled, that is...
