Now that we know what the actual year is, I've updated the Moonlight Product Placement thread to show the correct year, and to add the link to the eBay auction for the car.

I've got less than a week to win the lottery or otherwise become independently wealthy...

Mick's car sold about an hour ago -- for $55,000.

It didn't look like it was going to meet reserve, but the high bidder came in at the last couple of minutes.

I really hope the buyer was a fan.

I don't think 55,000 is too bad. And I would think that the buyer had to know about Moonlight or they wouldn't have bought it. I wonder who owned it.

That's actually about right for the car itself. They sell for a fairly wide range, but $55k is right in the middle.

One might have thought its interesting provenance might have earned it a bit more...
Kinda makes one feel they should have bid... At least to serve to jack up the price.
