Lilly, this is truly a work of love. You get the mood of the song and the rhythm perfectly. All the little instances when one of his characters turned away or was sad, lonely or melancholy.
And then the "I know" with all the faces he had, and a bit of a lighter mood in between.
I love how the lyrics match with the pictures.

Well, gotta say I've watched this a number of times now, just to make sure my original assessment of it's aesthetic qualities was correct.
