Question on Voice Changing Software

Most people probably don't have this because it's not needed for vid making but I thought I would ask here.

Can anyone recommend a simple and reasonably priced software for changing a woman's voice into a man's voice? Also not a computer man's voice but a reasonable facsimile of a human voice.

No nefarious plans here just trying a little project and if it works I'll post a link here.

Check your word processor and see if it doesn't have a "text to speech" option that will read what you type outloud. Some of them allow you to play with pitch and speed. It's still a mechanic voice, but you can sometimes find one close to human sounding. Other than that, use the "old method". Record your voice and speed or slow the playback accordingly.
