Sophia's new project - A Sunny Morning

Post by redwinter101 »

Sophia has been cast as Grace (another Grace. You can never have too many Graces.) in this short film, as announced on Twitter:
A_Sunny_Morning We're very excited to announce that the hugely talented #SophiaMyles & #CharlieCox will be taking on the lead roles of Grace & Adam.
The film has a very cool website: http://asunnymorning.co.uk/

Just saw the tweet with the news. I'm really glad for her!

It is sort of an interesting choice for Sophia, a short film. However, I'm sure she's doing the best thing for herself. The downside is that it might be harder for us in the States to see it.

I gotta say the visual on the official web site is really graphic and gets the jist of the film across really well. I won't say what it is because half of the effectiveness is in the startling nature.

I really love that she chooses projects that are interesting rather than commercial. I just wonder how she's doing, really. She seems to be quite self-reliant and unassuming, and I love that about her.

Unless they're nominated for awards, short films are really hard to track down (here too, Rhonda) - they crop up on the festival circuit, so I'll keep an eye out for this one.

francis, I couldn't agree more - there is nothing commercial about this but I'm hoping Sophia enjoys the project.

First, I'm just really happy for her. Second, from reading some of her interviews, she seem to only do a project she really likes even if there is no commercial advantage for her doing them. And why she doesn't wear a watch.

Thanks for that info.

I am not really understanding her career right now, but it's hers and I wish her well.

I've been trying to catch up from my weekend away... this sounds like a really interesting film, and I hope we get a chance to see it! I think it's fascinating the way Sophia chooses her work.

Wow, it really is a short film isn't it? All of the filming done in two days?

There's a nice still shot up on the website. Sophia's a bit out of focus, but it does give you a feel for the film, I think.

Thanks for letting us know what Sophia is up to. I was just thinking of her the other day because H5-0 has been adding fellow alumni to the cast in guest spots from LOST (Terry O'Quinn & Michelle Arthur) and (Masi Oka and Greg Grunberg) of HEROE'S. These reunions made me think it would be nice to see Sophia or Jason in a guest spot. We've already had Jordan Belfi die at the feet of Alex again :giggle:

This is my first time posting on this forum. It is wonderful to hear that Sophia is working again, even though it is a short film. I miss her. I have to agree, it would be wonderful to see her guest star on H50. I have read on many sites saying that will never happen, hopefully it is just because she is in London and not due to any conflicts with CBS or that Alex does not want to work with her again.
