Does this help? Yeah, any excuse to look at pretty pictures.

One day I was looking at Rolex online with him, but he didn't like any of them. I guess not good enough for him, I wouldn't know as I'm just a poor Walmart shopper. So I've got a link for a Forbes article on the world's most expensive watches. Would you believe 1.5 million for a WATCH?! :eek2: :gasp:
Please don't tell me Josef wears watches that cost over a mill. I may faint, and not in the good way. :thud:

His watch in that scene looks like a Seiko to me. They are not that expensive, Catmoon. No Woolworth material either, but not flashy.

I don't think so. His watch is more square shaped than those. At first I thought it was a Bulova... but that watch didn't have numbers like his.

Of course this is totally silly (but fun) because I doubt the costume or prop people or whoever was in charge of details like this would be using expensive accessories. :snicker:

(Josef informs me that just his jacket alone would break the Moonlight budget for the whole episode).

(The watch is probably Jason's Timex... :snicker: If they let him wear his own leather jacket, I would imagine they didn't give a thought to the watch.. )

I'm sure JOSEF would have much finer taste in clothing and accessories..

I’m not sure if it’s this one, but the golden square case, the black leather and the roman numbers would fit. And a gold plated Cartier would definitely be Josef’s style.

You're right francis. Either one of these would be pretty close to the one in the picture. Cartier is definitely within the parameters of Josef's taste ;) How could it not be? It's Cartier!

*Josef has informed me (with a gleam in his eye) that all of this discussion over his wardrobe is amusing him...*

Cartier, huh? Okay..I take back my earlier snide remarks about the props/wardrobe people. Mea Culpa! :blushing:

Of course it's a Cartier, how silly of me -- what else could it be! :snicker: I forgot about that one. Good detective work, Francis!

(fantasy aside, in the RL it could be a "knock off" the wardrobe dept. used)

Okay, now that we've solved that mystery, feel free to move along to the next accessory up for discussion. ;)

Just poppin in a little late to say Thanks, Catmoon, for posting the article. I thoroughly enjoyed it (especially the skeleton watch).

My first thought, some time ago, was that this was a Cartier "tank" watch...a classic, and very much the sort of watch Josef would wear. But Lilly and I looked at them, and decided they weren't quite right.

So who's going to hunt up those cool shades?
Lilly did all the foot work on the Ferrari, which I think I Josef's coolest accessory... :happysigh:
