In all seriousness...this movie was fantastic in its horribleness. Although I had to watch it a whole bunch of times before I watched it all the way to end - I usually gave up after the swamp thing gets Alex.

I watched Man-Thing this weekend all the way to the end. I've seen worse movies. (I don't know what that says about my taste in cinema but I have seen worse.) The lighting was bad and the accents were worse but I was able to stay mildly interested through the whole thing.

Although I've seen some of the worst movies David Carradine(Evil Toons Think Big, Safari 3000) and Dean Stockwell (Werewolf of Washington, Time Guardian, Dunwich Horror) have ever made so I have a strong stomach for bad movies

I even love the bad Monster Movies. I just watched "The Giant Claw" 1957 the monster "bird" effect was so bad it was hysterical. My sis and I can't get enough of these horrible flicks

So Yeah Man Thing is a gem in the realm of BAD movies

I liked The Giant Claw Kath. I like all those 50s scifi b&w movies. Crab Monsters comes to mind. But Man Thing? Don't own it, but I have seen it. That has to be the worst fake southern accent I have ever heard. Poor Alex!

She actually LIKES it and introduces the concept of an "Australian Rat Pack"
