Word, babe. :smooch:

(although I don't think I paid full price for it, but I made up for it in spades when I bought Oyster Farmer)

In all seriousness...this movie was fantastic in its horribleness. :teeth: Although I had to watch it a whole bunch of times before I watched it all the way to end - I usually gave up after the swamp thing gets Alex.

Ironically, that particular pic looks eerily similar (tho far different lighting) to your current banner! :snicker:

Although I've seen some of the worst movies David Carradine(Evil Toons Think Big, Safari 3000) and Dean Stockwell (Werewolf of Washington, Time Guardian, Dunwich Horror) have ever made so I have a strong stomach for bad movies
:coffee: I even love the bad Monster Movies. I just watched "The Giant Claw" 1957 the monster "bird" effect was so bad it was hysterical. My sis and I can't get enough of these horrible flicks :rolling:
The worse they are the more fun I have watching them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0w3FcVe9gc

So Yeah Man Thing is a gem in the realm of BAD movies :snicker:
I liked The Giant Claw Kath. I like all those 50s scifi b&w movies. Crab Monsters comes to mind. :snicker: But Man Thing? Don't own it, but I have seen it. That has to be the worst fake southern accent I have ever heard. Poor Alex! :giggle:

This is an interesting review of Man-Thing from Chris Davis, a staff writer at Hawaii Five-0 Online (she's reviewing some movies of the actors of the H50 cast).

She actually LIKES it :snicker: and introduces the concept of an "Australian Rat Pack"

I was just reading this article...

http://editorial.rottentomatoes.com/art ... perheroes/

And one of the things included is Man-Thing, with the original trailer, which features one line of Alex's Australian/faux-Southern accent...
