Sorry to disagree with everyone.

After the glorious Men's Fitness article and the wonderful pictures in the GQ magazine, I am really disappointed with this. Maybe people have only posted the pictures, but where does it talk about him? And the photography seems pretty basic (I am not a photographer so I don't have the right to be critical, I know.)

How does anyone know that he's more than just "him" as all the descriptions of the clothing say? Where is his name listed even once? Perhaps after I see the printed article with everything available I may change my mind, but right now he's just selling clothes which feels like a step down to me.

BTW, a question for those of you lucky enough actually to have the mag in your sweaty mitts, does Alex get a credit anywhere? Or is he just "On him" throughout?

So while this has turned out to be a fashion shoot... the purpose thereof to pimp the clothes, and mostly the model's clothes... he is the lure into the spread. He is getting credit. I promise.

Yeah, this is not an interview. We misunderstood. It truly is a fashion spread. But dude can hang. He could do these a lot. I swear I want him to get a designer spokesmodel gig...

Well, I think we all assumed, given Cosmo's own pimping, that this was an article about Alex.
We assumed, they never said that. And I don't normally regard Cosmo, so I had no frame of reference. I assumed.

But this is GREAT! A new audience. A large circulation. A well known imprimateur. Gorgeous GORGEOUS pics. Yes, P, this is a good thing.

And if he sells, he will get more. Even articles. I plan to write a letter, or email, to the editor.. To show my appreciation.

Let me rephrase my concerns. When I expressed my opinion, I was expressing how I felt personally about seeing the spread for the first time. Alex did not disappoint me; I know he performs to the best of his ability no matter what. But what Cosmo chose to do with him, in a purely photojournalistic sense, did not do him justice. If someone asks me which Alex appearance in a magazine this year is my favorite to revisit and dream about, it is not this one.

Yes, Alex will probably be seen by more women in this "article" than all his other magazine spreads combined. For that, I'm happy for him and the timing is a plus for H50.
