Pictures of Alex and Jason from the 2008 NY ComicCon

Post by Lilly »

These were popular over on the temp site, so I decide to transfer them here.

Lilly wrote:These pics haven't been seen in a while, so I thought I put them up for those who may not have seen them before. They were taken at the 2008 NY ComicCon during the "Best Week Ever" Interview that took place a couple of hours after the Moonlight panel. This series features Alex -- ever the professional -- and his reaction to passing Stormtroopers.

He's a big goofball.

He was definitely playing to the camera, but it was soooo cute.

One of the things I was struck with was how animated Alex is and you can see it in these photos. He was always moving, waving, pointing...using big, wide arm movements. Even his face, it's filled with expressions. He seemed to dwarf Jason and Jason isn't much smaller than Alex. Alex must be a hoot to be around in person. You could get a black eye just asking him to pick up some milk on the way home. Not that I would care, mind you. The benefits...out weigh any other issues. :evillaugh:

This is what I get for staying in the panel room to hear Brendan Fraser talk about Journey to the Center of the Earth. You miss all the good stuff. :snicker: These pics are incredible.

Sorry. As tempting as it may be, this board has a policy against the snarking of "real" people. The characters are fair game, but Alex and Jason aren't.

Doh! That's right. Sorry about that. Ahh well, maybe we'll get an equally as good character shot some day.

He was really animated during that interview. At one point he took over the mic from the interviewer and introduced himself -- quite seriously -- as Jason Dorhing. They were so funny together. You could see a real camaraderie there.

And I was at the Brendan Fraser panel. Hearing about a mediocre movie.
