Phoenix wrote: From the first five minutes of the first ep of Moonlight, I was just captivated with the idea that the vampires were not soulless monsters. They had friends and enemies, bills to pay, jobs, and very human likes and dislikes. I had been an avid fan of Buffy, [the TV series - not the movie], but I was just captivated by the "regular world" feel of Moonlight. It was the first time I'd ever seen vampires presented as being more-or-less regular people, and I adored the lack of supernatural elements in the show.
Well there, you've said it much better than I ever could, Phee.

What she said.

Really need to get up and go get more coffee. :mug:

ETA (yeah, yeah, more coffee, I know): And btw, Phee, I meant to tell you before, I loved your "smiley parade" of ML characters. :snicker:

Thanks, HotMicks. Enjoy your coffee. :twothumbs:

And once, ages ago, I did a "smilie parade" that included Beth and Josh, as well.

Five people believe in "all of the above" and only two believe in "vampires". I hope Mick and Josef don't read this thread.

Well, Joz'f will be delighted... no need for paranoia if we're all skeptical. And Mr. Skulk-in-the-Shadows can now feel more safe... we're protecting them.

Aww, that only means that two believe in vampires and six more believe in vampires AND all the other stuff.

Every time you say you don't believe in a vampire, one of them loses his fangs.
