I know that this is going to be duplicative, but I'm just saying that I agree about the French Revolution. While in a literary sense, it is an interesting fictional storyline, it trivializes the very real issues that lead to the French Revolution.

Individuals with sufficient wealth and influence, and presumably vamps had both in abundance, could 'spin' history in any direcdtion they chooses.

Certain key players could 'disappear,' others more willing to accept and promote the revision history rise to take their place and the history is rewritten.
