"Feels Like the First Time" - easy challenge for non-posters

Post by Lilly »

:bulb: We'd like to propose a “Feels Like the First Time” challenge just for the members of this forum who have never posted on the board.

With Moonlight about to rerun on network television for the first time since 2008, we’re all a bit nostalgic. :happysigh: And excited. :yahoo:

Some of us are very chatty. :blahblah: Others – not so much.

For those of you who have never taken the plunge and made that very first post, it can be very intimidating to introduce yourself or to jump into the middle of an ongoing conversation, so what we’re asking is that you just post a smilie, here in this thread – one little symbol summarizing your experience here on the board or your feelings about seeing Moonlight back on the CW. No pressure at all. It couldn't be easier. :teeth:

What do you say, folks? Give us a wave!

Okay, I'll take the plunge..... (I'm not even sure this is how you post!) I HAVE been lurking around here forever, but I'm not very technical. I do however LOVE Moonlight, and am just thrilled that it's going to be back on network TV again. Of course I have all the epis completely memorized, like everybody here, but there is just something about seeing it again in prime time.

Thanks to all of you for many happy hours of browsing pics, fics and comments!

(I have no clue how to attach the smilies!!!)

Hey veema!
To attach a smiley... leave your cursor wherever it is you want the smiley... (Wherever my cursor is, I see a blinking up and down line... guessing that's what all see?)...
Then move your mouse over to the smileys on display (I see an arrow as my mouse is moving and a little white hand when I'm on top of a smiley)...and then click on the smiley you want. It should now appear in your text, where you left your cursor.

Give it a try!! And I know the mods are all laughing... I suck at technical. :snicker:

What Grace just said, but I'm gonna still put mine up.
Oh Veema!
Thank you for answering the call.
To attach the smilies, you choose where you want it to go (usually at the end of a sentence) then you find one that you like, then run your arrow over it, left click, then a written description of the smilie comes up. :giggle:
Then just scroll down and click on submit.
All should be revealed in the published post! :fingerscrossed:

(I'm trying not to post too much in this thread as to not intimidate first-time posters. We've all been there!)

Welcome, veema! You did much better than posting smilie. First time out of the gate and you shared your feelings.

Thank you for being brave enough to abandon lurkdom and generous enough to share your thoughts.

Hi veema! Nice to hear from you. Maybe you'll be the first pebble of a landslide for lurking readers to post.

We're very nice people (even me  ) and leave most of the biting to the vamps. COme play!. We share our toys. :twothumbs:
