I feel a bit more relieved as I too have been frantically saving stuff. After loosing a HUGE amount of my stuff last November when my computer crashed. I had alot of sorting to do when putting stuff back in my computer off an old small jumbled 4GB jump drive. I had so much stuff lost after I had saved things to that jump drive I don't want to lose them again. So I purchased an external 500GB hard drive to keep everything safe this time...plus any future treasures. :fingerscrossed:
I never realized how often I'd go to AOLR to verify a date of an event or photo shoot as it helped me look like the know all be all of my Alex World...now y'all know my cheat...shhhhh don't tell...it's between you, me and my crutch AOLR. :winky: May Mizz keep it up and running with a little help from her friends.

Great news!!! :yahoo:
I had a goal of going there to pull photos---I meant to save pix, but got distracted by looking at pix.

And wtf is a terabyte??!! It sounds important and techno-y and positive, if it means more space for saving Alex goodness.

I think it sounds like a computer eating dinosaur. Scary! :gasp:
Also, I think it can fly....

That's exactly what it is, Ma Fleur. LOTS and LOTS of space for storing the Alex goodness. :hyper2: :hyper2: :hyper2: :hyper2:

(If you really want to know, which you probably don't... it's a thousand gigabytes. Although evidently "tera" comes from the Greek word for "monster," so grace is right too! ) http://www.techterms.com/definition/terabyte

Do you have any idea how close I was to making the dinosaur comment in my first post?!?! You said what I was thinking.

Great minds.

Yes. 1,000 Gigs. ALLLLLL for Alex. :cloud9:

kath, I often refer back to Mizzoh for stuff when I don't remember an interview date, etc, so your secret's safe with me. :smooch:

LOL - I think I'm going to name my external hard drive "Godzilla" now! :teeth:

Well, Godzilla is appropriate on so many levels--terabyte sounds like a prehistoric monster and Alex is a god.

So, there's that.

And isn't the fact that you need a thousand watt thingamajig a testament to ALL of the photos that mizz has on that site??? Mind boggling. And much appreciated.

As a point of reference -- everything we currently have in the MLA Gallery totals about 110 Gigabytes. Pgal's external drive can hold over 9 times that amount. :teeth:

Just sayin'...

Santa brought me a 1.5 Terabyte drive for Christmas. I'm gonna use it to back up my laptop. But there'll still be about a TB left for all the other Moonlighty and Alexy and Jasony goodness out there.

However, I'm positively THRILLED that Mizz is finding a way to keep AOLR going. I love it, and not just for its resources. That's a great community! :ghug:

Babe, I probably have enough room to house Alex himself in that drive. :teeth:

Now that's an interesting thought.....I had this image of Princess Leia coming out of R2D2 in Star Wars....just imagine, a 3D, interactive Alex hologram :cloud9:
