Wow! Bless you for sharing that treasure, Red. It amazes me that these buried gems are still coming to light!

I love the hints about what might have happened with Hiatt's character if The Shield had continued his story. And it's kind of cute that Alex interpreted the term "tool" the way he did - I'm not sure that's how the interviewer meant it, but it opened up a whole fascinating bit of analysis of his role that might not have otherwise happened. Lovely serendipity.

Oh that made me laugh. We finally found a word Alex doesn't like.

It's a very mild insult in English slang, francis - it means idiot, usually someone with a bit of arrogance. The last person I described as a tool (on Twitter) was Donald Trump, if that helps with the explanation.

I think Alex knew just what tool means... he just didn't want Hiatt called that.
He chose to go with another direction...
